Thailight

Aren't we an attractive bunch? Who wouldn't wouldn't want their child to be taught be foreign, English-speaking somber pasties?
What I should really do is provide ya'll with a picture of what some of us really look like. The funniest one is Nicki (Nicole Cuddy) from Canada. Her head is for sure photo-shopped onto someone's body. Not to mention, she looks nothing like that in real life. She is very beautiful, and less creepy-alien-like in person.  It's a bit of a running joke here.  Considering how 'professional these are suppose to be, it's kind of funny.  They use these photos for are immigration/visa paperwork. Also we were told not to smile in these pics - serious matters.  Marie-Eve Meunier, is my French Canadian housemate. She's great.  She is like the girl version of Aaron (my brother).  For those of you that know Aaron, I need not explain.

Here is the rest of the teaching gang.  I guess I thought the picture was a bit more clear when I captured it. Oh well. On the far right, bottom is Patrick my manager. I am just pointing this out for you Nick, so you can see the face behind the chaos we have been dealing with lately.
My 4 Thai Teachers
On the Left: my afternoon K1 Thai teachers Jum (far left) is the nanny and Jeab (2nd from left) is the head Thai teacher.
On the Right: my morning K1 teachers Jim (picture 3) is the nanny and Auff (far right) is the head Thai teacher.
They truly are great teachers.  Despite what CNN (June news) has said recently about Thai schools, Joy School runs a descent show from what I have seen academically.  The teacher's here have government jobs, they work full-time, with less pay but have some great benefits. Some of the benefits include free school for some/all of their children, free healthcare, retirement checks, etc.
Principal on the left, Kru Nok or Principal Nok. To the right is Thai Spock with modest eyebrows.
I'm not sure if this was worth posting. But thought if you have a a sense of humor you might appreciate it in the same way I do.  Which is brings my to the title of this post.
Seriously, don't you think the group of us could cast an amazing vampire cast? Think of the cinema potential here.

PS - I will have to keep you all posted on our photo shoot from a few weeks back.  The shots are going to be the new pictures on The Language Network Website. I am sure they will be a hoot, because it was slightly awkward, 'ok, you laugh now,' SNAP SNAP.

Great post.

Interesting to see who you're working with.

And Patrick looks exactly how I pictured him.

Your not digging the shoulder pads, is that what you are saying Evil Twin?

Nicholas Simon,
I am glad you enjoyed my post :) I was thinking it was a bit creepy and random, but if anything you may get a smile or two out of it. Maybe you'll get to me one or more of us!!!
